The Saskatchewan Queer Mental Health Collective (SQMHC) is a nonprofit organization working to improve access to safe mental health care across the province.
We are an association of mental health practitioners, not a mental health service provider.

SQMHC recognizes that we are uninvited guests on Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories, which are the traditional lands of the Nehiyaw, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota, and the Metis Nation. We also acknowledge living on the unceded, stolen lands of the Lheidli T’enneh, who have been the land’s caretakers since time immemorial. As an organization focused on mental health, we understand the enduring effects of settler colonialism as a key health determinant, and we are dedicated to addressing structural, institutional, and individual oppression within health and wellness care.
